It's weird: I'm a college prof; so every moment I am speaking publicly, making reports, or conversing with all kinds of people; but after all that, I still have so much left to say. This blog is for catching all those excess thoughts -- no more, no less. I read a lot of books, but I claim no expertise on many of these subjects; you are welcome to straighten me out. I welcome feedback and enjoy good reparte.

Albert,
Thank you for your letter to the Register; I hope you will continue to follow the ID movement, and publish when you are moved. Many teachers and academics tend to ignore Christian literature because they either feel shut out of the conversation or do not realize how influential this movement has become.
Discussion with ID proponents will surely help, by allowing them to realize that many (most?) science educators are informed by faith, that we are not diametrically opposed, and that the quest for truth can take many different forms. I thought your correspondence with David and June raised key questions, and established a positive foundation for future dialogue. So again, please do not give up!
